This Privacy Policy details how we handle information in the game Split in Half. We believe in minimal data footprint and maximum privacy. We only process information required to deliver essential gameplay and leaderboard capabilities.

We do not collect any personal identifier data (such as address, phone number, or full real name) unless you explicitly supply it.

• Username: When entering multiplayer or playing classic/endless modes, you choose a screen name. This name is stored publicly to represent you on leaderboards and in multiplayer lobby lists.
• Scores and Statistics: We store details of your successful rounds, including scores and game mode details, to construct global leaderboards.
• Temporary Connection Data: Real-time multiplayer rooms utilize temporary socket connections to coordinate shape-cutting coordinates between players.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to preserve your player name and basic settings across visits so you do not have to retype them. No cross-site tracking or advertising cookies are utilized.

4. Third-Party Services

Our database provider is Supabase, which hosts our database schemas and handles queries for leaderboards and room setups securely. No information stored there is shared with or sold to other third parties.

5. Updates and Contact
